Description
The Digestive Support Elixir contains a unique combination of natural^ ingredients designed to protect and support the digestive system of the horse. The key ingredients have been selected for their potential to reduce acidity, reduce the risk of ‘splash back’, protect the stomach lining, support the hind gut and promote digestive comfort. The elixir can be used both as a maintenance product added daily to feed and/or given orally (in feed or via syringe) prior to work and/or travel.
Instructions for use
- Dietary support
- Add 30g scoop to dampened feed once daily. The amount fed can be increased to 30g, twice daily, during times of stress (e.g. competition), or if deemed necessary to support healthy digestive function
- Pre-work/travel support
- Add 30g scoop to dampened chaff prior to work or travel. If the horse is fussy, the powder can be mixed with 100ml of water and administered over the tongue. The amount fed can be increased to 30g, twice daily, during times of stress (e.g. competition), or if deemed necessary to support healthy digestive function.
- If made up in bulk (e.g. 300g to 1L of water), store in a sealed container in the fridge and use within 2-3 days. Shake well before each use as the ingredients will separate once made up into a liquid.
